Its charming downtown dates from the the late 1800’s, with antique and second hand store treasures ready for the hunt. Take the foot ferry across the water to Bremerton then head to Downtown Seattle on the large car ferry just an hour’s ride away. Alternatively, take the scenic drive from Port Orchard to Gig Harbor, just 20 minuets south. Save time for an afternoon lunch and tea at Port Orchard’s Victorian Tea Room, owed by local author Debbie Macomber.
